The original Starknet explorer, built by Nethermind
Last updated: July 2026
Voyager, built by Nethermind, is the original and semi-official block explorer for Starknet, the Cairo-based ZK-rollup. It provides transaction and address lookup, Cairo contract inspection and verification, class and instance exploration, token and NFT tracking, and decoding of Starknet's native account-abstraction transaction model. As one of the earliest tools in the Starknet ecosystem and a product of Nethermind — a core Starknet infrastructure contributor — Voyager is deeply integrated with the network and is frequently the explorer that Starknet wallets, dApps, and documentation link to by default. It surfaces the Starknet-specific concepts that EVM explorers can't model: contract classes versus deployed instances, declare/deploy lifecycle, multicalls, and the fee and account-abstraction mechanics unique to Starknet. Developers use it to verify and read Cairo contracts and trace complex transaction flows, and it exposes an API for programmatic access. Browsing is free. The considerations mirror Starkscan's: Starknet's architecture is unfamiliar to EVM developers, the ecosystem is smaller than major L2s, and in practice many Starknet developers keep both Voyager and Starkscan open because each occasionally decodes or presents something the other doesn't. But as the foundational, Nethermind-backed Starknet explorer, Voyager is a canonical reference for the ecosystem.
