Most DeFi dashboards fall into one of two categories. Portfolio trackers like DeBank and Zapper focus on your personal positions — what you own, what it's earning, and where your liquidation risk sits. Protocol analytics tools like DefiLlama focus on the protocol level — TVL rankings, fee revenue, chain dominance, and historical comparisons. You probably want one of each, and they complement rather than replace each other.
Multi-chain coverage is the baseline — a tracker limited to Ethereum or one L2 misses too much. Beyond that, look for real-time position updates (not 10-minute delays), yield tracking that shows your actual earned interest, impermanent loss calculators for LP positions, health factor alerts for lending positions, and clean mobile apps for checking on the go.
We connected test wallets with positions across Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, and Solana and measured how accurately each dashboard tracked those positions, how quickly it updated, and which protocols it recognised. We also checked the UI for DeFi beginners vs power users and tested the accuracy of yield and P&L calculations.
